Role & responsibilities
• Hands on experience in handling of UT, MT equipment and NDT related instruments
• UT Equipment Calibration – UT (V1 & V2)
• DAC & Defect Interpretation
• Knowledge in MPI Yoke Method & Dye Penetrant testing
• Knowledge in weld defects & Visual Interpretation
• Hands on experience in training and certification of NDT personnel-Preferable
• Knowledge in Engg. Drawing reading and interpretation (Weld joints and NDT requirements)
• Knowledge in welding process
• Working knowledge in SAP / ERP-Preferable
• Responsible for qualifying and certifying NDT personnel at Levels 1 and 2, including competency assessment, training program oversight, and certification compliance.
• Handle complex NDT challenges, interpret inspection results, troubleshoot technical issues, and guide Level 1 and Level 2 personnel.
• Provide training, mentorship, and guidance to ensure proficiency and adherence to best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and oversight during NDT inspections and testing activities.
